Format:

• Sections & Rounds: Open & Under 1200; 4 Round DSS (Play 2 games against each opponent for total of 8 games)
• Official Rating Used: Higher of your USCF regular or Blitz rating will be used. This rating will be based on your ratings as of July 8, 2026. Other ratings may be used at TD's discretion.
• Time Control: G/3; inc 3.
• Trophies: 1st place - 6th place in each section
• Entry Fee: $25 by 5/7/26, $30 by 6/7/26, $35 by 7/7, $45 on 7/8 or after
• Late Registration: After 6:45pm on Friday July 10.

  A. FIDE Rated: The Open section will be FIDE rated meaning all players in this section must have a FIDE ID# prior to round 1. If you do not have one, please submit the following to hanleychessacademy@gmail.com at registration:
  
• Name as you would like it to appear on your FIDE ID
• Birthdate
• Email
• Gender
• Your answer to the following question: "Do you approve of the USA being your FIDE country flag?"

B. USCF Rated: USCF active membership is required prior to the start of round 1.
