Action Hexes

3 Tournament Dates:
1. June 6, 2026
2. June 7, 2026
3. June 8, 2026

Format:

Eligibility: Ages 15 & Over (Born on/before June 6, 2011)

3 round Swiss System in 6 player hexes. Players ranked by rating from highest to lowest rating. Highest rated 6 players are then placed in hex 1, next 6 in hex 2, etc. USCF Regular and Quick Rated.

Round Times: 9:30am, 11:30am, 2pm

Official Rating Used: As of June 1, 2026. Other ratings may be used at TD's discretion.

Time Control: G/45; inc 10.

Prizes: 1st: $65 2nd: $40 in each hex.

Entry Fee: $35 by May 15, 2026, $45 by June 3, $55 on June 4 or after.

Late Registration: After 9am each day.

Membership: USCF membership required for all playes. You may join onsite. Players will not be allowed to compete in round 1 without a valid membership.

Refund/Withdrawal Policies: Refunds minus $10/tournament are offered up to midnight PST on June 4, 2026. On June 5 or after, there are no refunds. Withdrawals: Please contact the Chief Tournament Director or Organizer to notify him/her of your request to withdraw (withdrawals are defined as once the tournament has begun).
