FIDE (Players >1400) & USCF Rated



  • Eligibility:
    1. Ages 18 and over or,
    2. Players ages 5-17 but with USCF ratings of 1400 or higher on October 1.

  • FIDE ID: Required if your rating is over 1400 USCF on October 1.
    USCF membership active/required of all players.
  • Prizes: 50% of all entry fees. Distribution of prizes will be posted after round 3.
  • Round Times: 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm
  • Time Control: G/45; inc 5
  • Official Tournament Rating: Your rating as of October 20 midnight PST will be the official ratings used.
  • Entry Fee: $35 by 9/1/26, $40 by 10/1, $50 by October 20, $65 on October 21 or after.
  • 1/2 point Byes (Meaning you won't be able to play in that round due to another conflict): 1 available

  • Cancellation/Refunds: Cancellations and refunds are given if requested by October 14. There is a $10 admin fee charged. Please allow 5-10 days for processing. There are no refunds on October 15 or after due to fixed costs. Withdrawals: If you wish to withdraw from a tournament, please contact a tournament director and inform him/her of your decision to not continue participating in the tournament. Thank you.
