What We Stand For and Believe Children Will Learn From Playing Chess:
For the National Tournaments, I have placed these in vacation locations. When I was younger, my two most memorable tournaments were both in vacation destinations. We had the chance to have fun in the areas (especially Hawaii in the 1995 US Open where I tied for 1st in the Master section competing against the likes of Hikaru Nakamura. We were able to swim, snorkel, etc during the day and then compete in the evening rounds.) Therefore, it is my hope you and your family will be able to create your lifetime memories both competing but also vacationing.
