There are tournaments for ALL experience/skill levels.
For example: An adult or youth person has never played chess before.
Our solution: There will be an instructional class followed by a tournament.
Chess Clocks
Chess Clocks Are Required for All USCF/FIDE Rated Games. Games cannot be played without them.
Options:
- Provide/bring your own.
- Rent from the Hawaii Chess Federation for $1/player/game.
- Purchase ($40; shown here in pictures) on the Registration webpage. I will bring all purchased clocks and hand deliver them to each of you on the first day of Festival. Please bring 2, AA batteries. Finally, these clocks must be pre-ordered. Thank you for this understanding.
